In the Spring of 1990, I received an application to visit Cottages at Hedgebrook, a retreat for women who write.

With the help of a friend, Kitty,

I was able to submit the application, and was invited to stay for 8 weeks.

I traveled from Martha's Vineyard

(an island off the coast of MA) to Whidbey Island, which is located off the coast of Seattle, WA.

I was given the opportunity to give more thought to KnowThing and KnowBody.

I learned My Life Lessons while transitioning to another level

of over and understanding.

I reviewed how often I had come, and how far I had gone,

in search of my Self.

Enough was finally--and at last--enough.

My sojourn in Waterfall Cottage was an undisguised blessing that enabled me to remind, review, and strengthen my inner Self.
